Sick College Student

Being away from home and being sick...is sick!
I really wish I could have gone home  because I just felt crummy.
My bed's not comfortable here, bathroom is just to small to sleep in.
My stomach hurt and so did my head, I felt really pathetic!
I sat on the couch, watching movies, doing homework, and even some sketching.
And for some strange reason when I'm sick I want a subway sandwich! So
I got one, along with a powerade from horxley's.
Then sat around watching Prince of Persia and Funny Girl.
Just sitting around finishing an essay question for my American Foundations class.

I did some other homework and drew some pictures.
{Possible ideas for my new blog header}

I even took a small walk to get some Thai soup . It was super yummy
{This is what a sick college student looks like}
{Tom Yum Khai Soup-Delicious}
{I love Thai}

So I'm glad to say I am feeling better and I survived the weekend.
I sat on the couch with a rice bag the whole time.
This week is looking a lot better and healthier with lots of being outside!
Have a happy weekend!

For my Dad

Dearest Dad!
You are my favorite man in my life.
Thanks for being my biggest fan.
You have taught me in so many
ways!
eu te amo!
beijos
sua princesa

{This is one of my favorite pictures with my Dad. Even though he hates to dance,
he still danced with me at all three of my  proms!}

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Dad's in the world.
I don't know what we would do with out our breadwinners.
I definitely would be more lost in math that's for sure.
Dad has taught me a lot of things:
To be happy
To be kind
Always work hard
Be your best
Patience
Math (hehe)
and so much more that I would like to list but it could just drag on.

When I look at my dad, I see the kind of guy I want to marry someday.
My Father is a worthy priesthood holder, provides for his family, and treats my mom like gold!
I like all the other girls in the world say I have the best dad in the world.
In my world he is!  I love you Daddy!

Change

As I look at my blog, I see that it is all about being myself and loving it.
Loving my quirkiness and the person I am becoming.
Its about encouraging others to do the same!
Being Grateful for the people in my life
and the direction I am headed!
So with that
Change is a good thing!
You might see some changes on my blog!
I believe it is time to make the blog more me!(And trying some new elements with it)
So over this weekend when I find time away from homework I'll be making some adjustments!

Something about a Smile

Their so simple.
You share a smile and everyone you pass smiles.
When some one smiles at you, you can't help but smile.
Lately I can't help but smile!
I am so happy where I am in my life.
I'm so happy I'm school (the school I'm supposed to be at)!
I happy for the amazing people in my life.
I'm happy with the choice I'm making.
I love it when I smile at guys and they smile back!
I love it even more when they smile at me first and throw in a wave.
My new quote for when I am sad is this:
When I'm sad, I stop being sad and start be awesome instead!
Honestly you're has happy as you make you're self!

So here I am smiling because:
I got to go swimming with one of my amazing friend Shane.
I got McDonald's Sundae.
I'm watching Napoleon Dynamite! It's so cheesy and funny! Reminds me of when I was younger!
I'll finish up the day with some Zumba Flat abs, shower and going to bed early.
Gotta register for classes for Fall semester! Pretty Excited!

Smile on!

I-Like I mean Love-Jillian Nicole!

I have some amazing friends.
I would like you meet one of them.
Jillian Nicole!
She's an upcoming artist in the Provo Area!
She has a lovely voice and writes all of her music (lyrics, piano, and some guitar).
To hear some of her music check out this place.
Let her voice rock your sweet ear buds into a lovely dizzy!
She'll leave you feeling like an ice cold glass of lemonade.
Sweet, tart, and satisfying!

I've known Jillian since I was in first grade!
I've always been jealous of her musical talent!
Who isn't?!
So do me a favor. Go to her fan page on Book Face and like her!
You won't just like her...You'll love her!
Check out for yourself.
You can thank me later for introducing her to you! :)

My love: Running

Let's just say that before I came to college I detested running on my own.
Granted I did Cross Country in 6th grade, Jr. High, and Freshmen year of high school.
And some track in Jr. High 9th and 11th grade. I ran when I wasn't hurt really.
I probably could have done really great in Cross Country, if it weren't for the injuries.
I was running a 5k in 21 minutes and on my way to get faster as freshmen.
I made it to state got 35th (15 away from medalling). It was fun, be in Lewiston with all my
friends!  Then of course I got injured in track that year from trying to be a triple jumper and
a distance runner. Missed out Cross country.

On those years that I didn't do my usual cross country and track season I detested running.
My parents told me to go out and do something but I would just brush it aside.

First semester I packed on the pounds after Halloween. Of course I started running and
couldn't lose any
of that weight. I blame myself for that one-seriously! Well okay part of it was
my thyroid being attacked by my immune system but I was boredom
eating. I was having a love hate relationship with running because it wasn't doing anything for me.
I went back home got things situated with my thyroid and before I knew I was back up at school running a
and swimming. Lost 15 pounds (so far) and loving it.

Through running I learned to love myself more.  It makes me so happy.
It's hard not to love yourself when you're happy. My relationship with my
running shoes is pretty strong.  Yup I'm dating my running shoes. Every night
during the week I am cruising with my shoes and discovering different parts of Rexburg.

Running keeps me sane. It melts the stress of school, being a way from home,
and the crappy dating scene Rexburg (a may have to rant about that one sometime).
It makes me feel healthy, happy, strong, confident, and of course beautiful.

College: it's freeing!

I love College! I think its the best thing that has ever done!
Its like High School only 100x better.
You get to have sleep over every night! It's a party!
Your making your own choice, becoming that person you put aside in high school.
Granted my first semester I was a sad one compared to this semester.
I did explore myself a lot and learned somethings about myself.
I still am! I like more music than I can possibly imagine.
There are people out there that like me for who I am and want to hang out me!
College is so freeing! You're not pretending anymore or you really won't have friends!
My testimony has been tested and is still tested.
I'm so grateful for being at BYU-I, there are still reasons I don't know why I was prompted to come here.
Granted I am thinking about transferring but thats when I'm prompted to!
(I;m thinking of majoring in nutrition and BYU-I doesn't have it).

So I have a top 10 list of  why I love College!

{1} You are in control-nobody tells you what to do
{2} Your studying something you love
{3} You're always meeting new people everyday; amazing people
{4}You can avoid the drama- most act like adults
{5} BOYS!! I would be lying if I didn't say it
{6}You're poor and having the time of your life
{7} Your views are expanded
{8}You do somethings you'll never be able to do at other times in your life
{9}You can be has healthy or has disgusting as you want
{10} You become the person you want to be
